As an employee of your company or organisation, you can easily access your company’s or organisation’s private podcasts via the Springcast PRO mobile app. Think of important updates, interviews or inspiring stories — exclusively for internal use. The app is secure, so you can listen anytime and anywhere. Read here how to get started right away.
Download the mobile app
You can download the mobile app for iOS and Android. Below you will find the links:
Logging in
Open the mobile app on your phone. There are two ways to log in:
- Have you been invited to a group by email from Springcast? Then click on 'accept invitation' in the email and create login credentials. These will now also be your login credentials for the mobile app. Then log in to the app.
- Does your company use SSO? Then you can log in with your company email address. The system recognises the organisation.
Turning on notifications
When the app opens, you will receive a prompt asking if you want to enable notifications. You can set this in your mobile phone’s settings. You will receive a notification when a new episode is available from a favourite show.
Note: you do not receive notifications by default. You can turn notifications on or off per show by marking a show as favourite. See 'Turning on notifications per show'.
Main screen explained
When you open the main screen, you will see the following layout:
- The episodes you see as (large) tiles at the top show episodes from podcast shows that have been published recently – for inspiration.
- The row below shows the podcasts with the most recently published episodes.
- Under ‘Podcast shows’ you will find all podcast shows available to listen to.
If you have already started an episode, you will see it on the main screen under ‘Continue listening’.
Searching for podcast shows
Click on 'Discover' at the bottom of the screen and search for a podcast show you want to listen to.
Opening a show
When you click on a podcast show, a screen opens with all episodes of that show. You will also find more information about the show.
Turning on notifications per show
You can turn notifications on or off per show by marking a show as favourite.
- Open a show
- Click on the three dots in the top right corner
- Turn notifications on if you haven’t done so yet
- Add the show to favourites by clicking on the heart
