In this article we explain what a podcast RSS-feed is and how it works. The official description of a podcast RSS-feed is this:
"A podcast RSS feed is a page that allows people or applications (e.g. Spotify or Apple Podcasts) to automatically retrieve updates of new content on that page. When it comes to a podcast RSS feed, this is information about the cover images, the author, the episode and the sound file."
To make sure your podcast is streamed at platforms like Spotify or Apple Podcasts, you use a link (URL) to an RSS-feed.
