IMPORTANT: Do you want to adjust your RSS feed because you moved from Anchor (now Spotify for Creators) to Springcast PRO? Probably, with the posting of the redirect (Anchor feed to Springcast PRO feed), it is no longer necessary to adjust your RSS feed. Still, always check that the correct RSS feed is in your account and change if necessary (see step 2 in this article). You may need to claim ownership of the podcast first.
NOTE: After changing your RSS feed, the episode level statistics in Spotify for Creators will be set to 0. If you want to keep these statistics, make sure you make an export before you edit the RSS feed. Your general show-level data, such as streams, listeners, and followers, will be retained after you change the RSS feed.
NOTE: only perform this step once a redirect has been placed from your old host's RSS-feed to Springcast's RSS-feed.
Step 1: Your RSS-feed at Springcast PRO
3. Under 'Podcast settings', you will see your unique RSS feed. Copy the feed
Step 2: Adjust RSS feed in Spotify
Please read the following steps carefully.
1. Go to https://podcasters.spotify.com/
2. Select Log in at the top right. Log in with your Spotify or Anchor account (if your podcast was previously hosted by Spotify/Anchor). By June 2024, Spotify will ask you to change your Anchor account to a Spotify account, if you haven't already done so you can click 'Haven't updated your account yet? Sign in with your Anchor details'. Go through the steps.
3. Once you are logged in, click on your podcast in the left-hand column
4. Click on 'settings'.
5. Scroll down to 'RSS feed' and 'Licensor/hosting platform'
6. If you see the Springcast PRO RSS feed here, Spotify has already modified it. If you do not see the Springcast PRO RSS feed here, click the ‘update’ button, enter your RSS feed and select Springcast as the host. If you do not see the ‘update’ button, please contact Spotify.
NOTE: It may take a few days for Spotify to pick up your new link. This shouldn't affect the episodes that are already in Spotify. Your new episodes should be visible a few days later.
